The EUPO 2018 (Oct 3-4) and EVER 2018 Congress (Oct 4-6) will take place at the Acropolis convention center situated in Nice, France.
The City of Nice is located on the French Riviera in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.

Besides the rapid fire presentations and posters, there will be keynote lectures, plenary lectures, special interest symposia (SIS), courses and workshops, with many distinguished invited speakers.
A "no-show" will result in the refusal of any abstract submission the next year.

Abstracts will be published electronically as an addendum to ACTA Ophthalmologica, the official EVER journal. The copyright of the full text remains with the authors.
Young investigator award session: the Rapid Fire abstracts from first authors under 35 years of age, will be further selected by the Section Chairs such that authors of the best abstracts will be invited to present in the "Young investigator award session"
A poster prize (free registration for next year’s EVER congress) will be awarded for the best poster. The winners will be chosen by the poster moderators and will be announced in the Award Ceremony on Saturday October 6.
Travel support with an amount of 500 EUR will be awarded to the best abstract of each of the 11 sections. Applications for travel support must be submitted during the submission procedure online. No one can be awarded more than one prize. Travel support will be awarded to early career researchers under 35 years old. Winners will be notified early July 2018. The grantees are listed here.
EVER 2018, Nice, France, Oct 4-6, has been granted 20 European CME credits (ECMEC®s) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®).
On the last day of the congress participants will be able to download your CME certificate from the website.
