Top Word from the president, Charles Riva
RivaDear Colleagues and Friends,

In a little more than 6 months, we will have the opportunity to meet for the third and last time in Portoroz, Slovenia, one of the most beautiful and modern marinas on the Adriatic. This venue, with its excellent facilities for holding a scientific congress, has all that is needed to promote exchange of ideas between participants in a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. EVER remains committed to maintaining excellence and this year’s program offers valuable opportunities for growing, renewing and extending professional contacts. Aware that the current economic climate puts pressure on travel budgets, EVER has increased its number of travel grants to encourage young basic and clinical researchers to attend the meeting and present their work.
I hope a great many of you will attend the meeting and I am looking forward to welcoming you in Portoroz.

Charles Riva, EVER President 2009
