Summary:
Top The EVER 2007 Annual Congress: Succeeds and Breaks Several Records!
It is no exaggeration to declare the 10th Congress of EVER in Portoroz, Slovenia, a complete success. In fact, the General Assembly thought the venue to be the best so far, even surpassing the excellent facilities we have had in the past. Rooms were spacious and conveniently located, and the technical facilities and staff just excellent.
We broke several records. Discounting last year’s congress, which was associated with one-time events, the number of registered participants topped for the first time 700, up 21 from a previous record of 681 in 2003, Alicante, Spain. As before, large numbers attended from the neighbouring countries, like Italy with 70 participants. The number is expected to increase further when news of EVER spread more widely in the region.

Top A summary from the local organiser
It has been a pleasure to host the EVER meeting in Slovenia in October and I am glad that most of the delegates found the new venue pleasant from the point of view of the congress centre as well as by the pleasurable closeness of the beach that many of you enjoyed already for a morning swim.
