Nice

The city of Nice is located on the French Riviera in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Blessed by a sunny, temperate climate, Nice attracts visitors from around the world. Among its many attractions are its beautiful beaches, lovely seaside promenade, interesting museums, famous city landmarks and other tourist attractions.
Nice is a major air transportation hub in Europe. Several low-cost airlines offer frequent flights to the Nice Cote d'Azur Airport from London, Paris and other cities. A high-speed rail service operates to Paris to Nice.
Public transportation includes a tram system, ferry service and transit service.
Day excursions are available from Nice to Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, Monte Carlo, Cannes and to other towns.
All types of hotel accommodation is available in and around Nice. From budget hotels to elegant seaside resorts, excellent accommodation is available for all budgets.

Scientific programme

Abstract submission deadline : June 4, 2012
|
|
|
Besides the free papers and posters, there will be keynote lectures,
plenary lectures, special interest symposia (SIS), courses and workshops,
with many distinguished invited speakers.
Only members having paid their membership fee before June 4, 2012 are
allowed to submit an abstract for a free presentation. The first author
must be the presenting author.
No one may be first author of more than one oral presentation and two posters. This rule does not apply to invited speakers.
No show will result in refusal to accept an abstract next year.

Abstracts will be published electronically as a supplement to ACTA Ophthalmologica, the official EVER journal. The copyright of the full text remains with the authors.
|
|
|
Travel Grants
|
|
Travel grants will be awarded to:
- The best paper of each of the 11 sections : 500 EUR
All papers submit for the EVER 2012 before the abstract deadline of June 4 are subject to be chosen. There is no need for special application.
|
|
CME Credits
|
|
The meeting is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).
|
