Dear Sir or Madam,
The European Association for Vision and Eye Research (EVER) holds an internationally recognised annual scientific meeting showcasing from amongst the best of Europe's clinical and basic science research. Contributions from countries across the world are also presented.
This year the EVER annual congress will be held in picturesque Protoroz in Slovenia from the 1st to the 4th of October 2008. Ground transportation is organised from airports in Trieste, Italy and Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.
May I personally request you to consider submitting abstracts of your department's clinical and or basic research and encouraging your junior researchers to do the same. I can assure you of a very warm welcome, a pleasant and enjoyable stay and a rewarding social and scientific experience.

Abstract submission is now open at the EVER web site: www.ever.beRegistration as EVER member and for attendance of the congress is subsidised for trainee ophthalmologists and scientists, and special rates are available for countries listed on the web site.
